Calling all golfers and golf enthusiasts who know about birdies and like to make guesses! This is Boys Town South Florida’s first time participating in the philanthropic part of the Cognizant Classic, which is a professional golf tournament held annually in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, at the PGA National Resort and Spa from February 27 to March 2, 2025. In previous years, the tournament was called the Honda Classic until it was renamed in late 2023. Professional golf players go after the FedEx Cup yearly, striving to rack up points.
In 2024, the winner was Austin Eckroat, who secured victory with a total score of -17. The Cognizant Classic allows the community to guess how many birdies would be done by all the players throughout the PGA Tour, and it is done by donating a minimum of $20 to a nonprofit of choice. If the person guesses correctly, they can win the $25,000 grand prize, which would also be awarded to the nonprofit of choice! Who said you can’t have your cake and eat it too?

Ways Donors Can Give
- Online: Donors can click the "Donate" tab on Cognizant Classic Birdies for Charity - Boys Town South Florida, Inc., make their birdies guess, and complete the donation via credit card or Apple Pay. PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. will collect all online donations.
- By Cash or Check: Donors wishing to donate via cash or check will donate directly to the charity of their choice. The donor must complete a Manual Donation Form, which includes their birdies guess and a tie-breaker question. The donor will send this form and their donation directly to the charity. The charity will record and upload all donations to the donation site.
