The Cognizant Classic is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, held annually in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, at the PGA National Resort and Spa. We see stellar golf players going after the FedExCup each year, all striving to rack up the points. You might know it as formerly the Honda Classic, including the infamous "Bear Trap" (holes 15-17). In 2024, the winner was Austin Eckroat, who secured victory with a total score of -17. The Cognizant Classic is also an excellent opportunity to help nonprofits near you! We are calling out all our Boys Town supporters and golf enthusiasts to make pledges by guessing the total number of birdies that this year’s PGA TOUR players will make during The Cognizant Classic (Feb 27 – Mar 2, 2025). To participate, you need to contribute a minimum of $20 to a charity of choice, which, in this case, would be us. This, in return, would give you a chance to win the $25,000 grand prize if you can guess correctly how many total numbers of birdies are made during the tournament! Ways Donors Can Give
- Online: Donors can click the "Donate" tab on Cognizant Classic Birdies for Charity - Boys Town South Florida, Inc., make their birdies guess, and complete the donation via credit card or Apple Pay. PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. will collect all online donations.
- By Cash or Check: Donors wishing to donate via cash or check will donate directly to the charity of their choice. The donor must complete a Manual Donation Form, which includes their birdies guess and a tie-breaker question. The donor will send this form and their donation directly to the charity. The charity will record and upload all donations to the donation site.
