Attendees will get an exclusive first-hand look at the Blue Baby documentary, directed and produced by award-winning filmmaker Josh Sabey. Available only on AppleTV, the film highlights the rehabilitation journey of at-risk youth at Boys Town and underscores the critical role of community support in preventing family separation or incarceration.
This event will feature a dynamic discussion on the root causes of juvenile delinquency—such as lack of education, poverty, insufficient support systems, and trauma. Over breakfast, community leaders, including Judge Melanie Surber, will explore solution-driven approaches, highlighting prevention and early intervention services like mental health counseling, family support, and school-based programs as positive alternatives for at-risk youth and their families
