Meet Shannon, one of our Family Centered Services Specialists who is a certified SafeCare provider! Shannon joined our Boys Town team in May 2020. She provides interventions to parents to teach them how to ensure their young children have a nurturing, safe and healthy home environment. Shannon excels at working with her peers and being a great mentor for them.
Some fun facts about Shannon:
1. I have a Corgi named Annie
2. I went to the state tournament for tennis in high school
3. I love traveling and it doesn’t not matter where I go
4. I am in grad school currently pursuing my master’s degree in child, Youth, and Family Studies
Shannon says what she enjoys most about her work is “being able to positively impact her families and teach them how to safely care for young children under the age of 5 with SafeCare services.”
