“Three, two, one…"
A crowd of over 100 were dazzled by Boys Town New England's Christmas Tree lighting and merry music by The Newport Navy Choristers at our “Holiday Spectacular."
The Portsmouth Fire Department delivered Santa and Mrs. Claus in style, then listened to every child's wish, in addition to posing for photos.
“Our aim was to encourage community spirit during the Christmas season, and inspire traditions," said Sarah Galvan, Executive Director of Boys Town New England. “We are grateful to our sponsors: Navigant Credit Union, Newport Restaurant Group, and Webster Bank. Without their generous support this illuminated event would not have been possible."
All five Family Homes were lit and shining, with three of the open homes welcoming visitors with home cooked soups, chili, and baked goods throughout the evening. The event made the Bazarsky Campus a happy, engaging location for the children and families of Boys Town New England during the start of the holiday season.
