Our Boys Town youth enjoyed a great day on the greens as they attended the recent PGA Korn Ferry Tour Youth Day as part of the Pinnacle Bank Golf Championship held on Saturday, August 13, at Indian Creek Golf Course in Omaha. Watching professional players in action and feeling the excitement of the event was a great opportunity for our youth and their families. Also, part of Youth Day, our kids had the chance to enjoy a variety of interactive games and activities, including a putt-putt course, a trick shot golf show and the chance to get some autographs from their favorite players.
The highlight of the day was the First Annual RSM Putting Challenge, a charity fundraiser. As part of this event, charities were nominated to send two golfers to participate in a putting challenge, where they could compete for cash prizes for their organizations. Thanks to the generous $5K donation given to Boys Town by Bridgeport Investment Bank, BT Mayor and the Vice Mayor were invited to compete and were assisted by their own pro golfers/caddies, Garret Gamez and Andrew Nussbaum, who helped them “get into the swing."
Boys Town offers a HUGE THANK YOU to Bridgeport Investment Bank for their support of our Boys Town youth and the opportunity they provided for them to experience an official PGA Korn Ferry Tour Championship event.
