Our mental health practitioners, psychiatrists and physicians work closely with families, schools and other referrers to provide the best care for children and adolescents.

Mackenzie Boon
Ph.D., LP, Supervising Psychologist​

Mackenzie Boon, Ph.D., began providing outpatient behavioral health services and conducting diagnostic assessments at the Boys Town Behavioral ​Health Clinic in Grand Island, NE in 2021. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2012, her M.Ed. in School Psychology from the University of Utah in 2015, and her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Utah in 2017. Dr. Boon completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship in the Pediatric Developmental Disabilities Clinic at the John Hopkins University School of Medicine/Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD, before returning to central Nebraska.
