Meet Beth, our Boys Town In-Home Family Services®/On the Way Home® supervisor. Beth works with Juvenile Court youth in District 2 (Carroll/Ft. Dodge/Ames/Mason City area) and District 4 (Council Bluffs area). Beth helps consultants teach parents and youth skills that aid in the youth completing probation without further issues and in returning home from court ordered placement. Beth has been with Boys Town since March 2020 and excels at supporting her team, advocating for families, and ensuring the model is implemented.
Some fun facts about Beth:
1) KU Grad: Rock Chalk, Jayhawk
2) One of my first jobs was a tour guide and housekeeper at an Exotic Animal farm in Nickerson, KS (kangaroos, camels, water buffalos, giraffes, etc.)
3) I sketch and crochet
Beth says what she enjoys most about working at Boys Town is, “to help provide opportunities for youth and families that build them up and motivate them no matter the circumstances.”
