Stories of Support

Jason: Boys Town at its core exists to make the world a better place. It's grown over the years from a smaller facility to a larger facility with multiple locations. Miller Electric as a company has also grown from a small company to a larger company. And we too truly exist to make the world a safer place, through electrical safety.

We've been involved with Boys Town for a number of years. It goes back to Cliff Miller, who was a long-time employee of Miller Electric, and one of the Miller family members. We have a picture in our lobby that shows the Field House, which indicated that Miller Electric has been working on the campus for over 70 years. And so we've done a number of projects over the years with Boys Town. And all of our employees that have worked on campus have enjoyed the experience. They've enjoyed working with different employees. And, they just come away from the campus with just a great feeling.

Charlie: It didn't take long to be on campus to start to realize the giving back that all of their employees do to the programs around Boys Town, whether it's the volunteer fire department, the football team. You can tell when they go to work every day that it's a job, but it's more than that to them. And I would like to institute that into Miller Electric more so.

Jason: We like to support anybody that chooses to do business with us. Obviously we have a great amount of respect for what Boys Town does and their mission. We believe tying ourselves to Boys Town, Boys Town obviously provides a phenomenal service to the community. I would love for the relationship to continue for as long as I'm at Miller Electric, and certainly well past that. We'd love to continue to be involved with projects on the campus. We'd love to continue to get to know everybody that works there. We will continue to support Boys Town each year like we have in the past.
