Please join Boys Town Central Florida in celebrating our very own Family-Teaching couple, Javarrow and Angela Rooks, who were one of four featured nominees for the prestigious Foster Parents of the Year award by the Florida Coalition for Children!
This incredible honor highlights the wonderful work Javarrow and Angela have been doing for the past 10 years. Throughout their decade of service, they have positively impacted the lives of countless youth, many of whom still call and visit to this day. As Angela beautifully puts it, “The youth know they are always welcomed back.”
The Rooks' dedication and love for caring for youth have created a lasting legacy, and their hearts are truly huge. The youth who the Rooks care for are truly blessed. “Thank you, Javarrow and Angela , for serving so well and making such a significant difference in our community,” said Laurie Stern, Boys Town Central Florida Executive Director.
