The Village of Boys Town was officially incorporated in 1936 and today serves as the home to more than 400 at-risk youth who reside in Family Homes on our campus, and receive care and guidance for a wide range of behavioral, emotional and academic issues.
The site offers an array of programs and services like In-Home Family Services®, Foster Family Services®, Common Sense Parenting® classes and Successful Futures, a program that helps youth after graduation from high school. The Village of Boys Town also is home to the Boys Town National Research Hospital® that offers a variety of healthcare and child treatment services and our innovative research program.

The site also works with the state of Florida to combat child abuse and neglect through our short-term Intervention and Assessment center. Community Support Services include Children in Need of Services/Family in Need of Services, Common Sense Parenting® classes, and Project Safe Place, a national program that assists at-risk youth in crisis.
North Florida
The first of Boys Town’s national sites, Boys Town North Florida has been providing services for children and families since 1983. At the time, Florida was in crisis with a ranking at the bottom of the child welfare system. Boys Town and the Tallahassee community joined forces and worked together to address this need and the result was Boys Town North Florida.
Today, the site partners with area agencies and businesses to constantly enhance the quality and variety of care we provide to the community and to continue on our journey to save children and heal families in North Florida.
Iowa

Through this unique program, more than 2,000 children from over 1,000 different families receive services each year. This Boys Town site serves three different communities in western Iowa.
