Eight Boys Town students had an unforgettable experience recently when the beloved host of *Cash Cab*, Ben Bailey, came to campus to play a few games of trivia.
The trivia challenge took place inside the Hall of History in the famous, yet stationary, FLEX bus. Known for driving Boys Town sports teams to games across the country in the 50s and 60s, the FLEX bus combined the history of Boys Town with the lights and excitement of the *Cash Cab*. Two enthusiastic groups of Boys Town students competed in trivia games, adding a touch of excitement to their day. Every contestant walked away with a little extra cash in their pockets!
Ben’s visit didn’t stop at trivia; he also took the time to tour our campus and connect with several of our youth.
He listened to their stories, shared laughs, and created lasting memories that our students will cherish. The joy on their faces during the trivia games was a testament to how meaningful these experiences are.
At Boys Town, we provide not just the safety and security necessary for our youth to thrive, but we also offer them opportunities for once-in-a-lifetime experiences like this one. These chances are possible thanks to the individuals who invest their time and care into the lives of our children. It truly means the world to these kids to know that people from all over the country believe in our mission and are rooting for their success.
We hope you will take Ben’s question from Episode One very seriously: “This nonprofit has been saving children and healing families for over 100 years… and it is a great place to donate to.”
